About.
Marindrew was started in 2024 by operators on both sides of the Channel who were tired of watching defence-tech companies lose months to generalist recruiters that did not understand their mission. We placed the first ten engineers from a single shared spreadsheet. The company exists to make that work repeatable.
Get the right people
to the right side of the
problem.
The defence of Ukraine — and of free Europe — runs on engineers, operators and founders. Our job is to remove the friction in finding them, vetting them, and placing them where the work matters.
Kyiv plus London,
not London with a
translator.
Marindrew was co-founded by a Ukrainian operations lead from a Kyiv UAS manufacturer and a British search principal who had spent a decade placing engineers in defence primes and venture-backed start-ups. We meet weekly in person — alternating cities — and our client list reflects that geography.
How we work,
in four lines.
- 01Mission before margin
We turn down briefs that don't fit the mission. Defence and dual-use only. No surveillance products that conflict with the rights we're defending.
- 02Domain over hustle
Every search lead has worked in defence, drones, software or special operations. We argue with you about specifications, not about closing dates.
- 03Discreet by default
Confidentiality is the baseline. We can run searches without naming the client until shortlist, and most of our work never appears on a public job board.
- 04Aligned commercials
Retained model with milestone billing. Replacement guarantees on every placement. Day-rate consultancy where a search is not the answer.
